I had a pleasant stay with clean and comfortable beds, which made for a good night's sleep. the room I stayed in showed signs of wear and needed some updates, particularly in terms of decor. While the staff were friendly and helpful, I experienced some noise issues from plumbing that disrupted my sleep.

We had a comfortable stay with a cozy room that even had an extra pull-out mattress for one of our boys. The location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions, and the staff were warm and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit.
In my wife’s opinion, the noise from the adjoining pub kept the kids up all night. It would be great if soundproofing could be improved for family rooms.

Family with children ready for a history lesson
The place has a nice historic feel with large pub areas and a cozy garden which was perfect for the kids to run around in and the beer selection really excellent for a family pub it was nice to unwind with a cold one after a long day
It wasn’t exactly cheap but for what we got it was still within reason.

missingWrote a review on 18 Augdated decor
The decor felt dated and in need of a good refurbish. Peeling wallpaper and cracked plaster in the hallway really didn't do much for the atmosphere. The shower was a pain, being difficult to turn off and fluctuating in temperature. I also noticed some plumbing noise that might disturb light sleepers-definitely not what you'd want during a peaceful night. The dining area lacked atmosphere, leaving it feeling a bit sterile while waiting for breakfast. All in all, it's got potential, but it's got a long way to go.
